The timing of the show coincided with the withdrawal of the Hilton-Trident marketing agreement. SATTE was held dose to this announcement. Appropriately, the group's pavilion was split into two halves, one being given to Oberoi Hotels and the other to Trident Hotels. The design followed the new linear look envisaged in the new designs at the Oberoi Hotels.
