SARISKA

Nestled in a picturesque valley of the Aravallis, Sariska Wild Life Sanctuary covers 800 sq. km. This sanctuary established in 1955, offers an opportunity to see Tigers, Panther, Leopard, Blue Bull's (Nilgai), Sambhar, Cheetal (Spotted Deer), Four Horned Antelope and Wild Boar. There are two observation towers within the sanctuary at Bankpul and Kalighat from where animals can be viewed. Safari tour in mini coach, at Rs. 30/- per person. Night outings can be arranged. The sanctuary can be visited round the year except monsoon, during July and August. The best time to see the wildlife is in the evening or at night.
